Abstract
We continue to study ways of defining circuits associated with clutter s, and we give several new characterizations of matroid ports using th eir circuits. We also discuss the use of these circuits to analyze red undancies among elements appearing in nonmatroidal reliability problem s, (C) 1998 Academic Press.
