Abstract
The two-sublattices random energy model (REM) with antiferromagnetic i nteractions is solved, its phase diagram and magnetic properties being worked out. Paramagnetic, antiferromagnetic, spin glass, and mixed sp in glass-antiferromagnetic phases are obtained. The total magnetizatio n as a function of temperature and external field exhibits a peculiar behaviour in qualitative agreement with recent experimental results.
