Abstract
The Gibbs energy of formation of the solution and compound phases in t
he Al-Nb-Ti system were derived from an optimisation procedure using a
ll the available experimental thermodynamic and phase diagram data. Th
e thermodynamic description of the ordered compounds was made using a
multi-sublattice model, while a Redlich-Kister polynomial was used for
the solution phases.
