Pancreatic disorders are not rare in children. Modern imaging equipmen
t allows recognition of many pancreatic diseases that were difficult t
o identify in the past and therefore were considered to be unusual. Wi
thin the scope of this article we include information on imaging modal
ities for studying the pancreas and a description of the radiologic ma
nifestations of the most common congenital, inflammatory, tumoral, tra
umatic and systemic disorders.
