Foreign body granulorma is a rare cause for an orbital mass. A case wi
th proptosis and an orbital mass on CT scan is presented. Fine-needle
aspiration of the mass was performed. Numerous foreign body giant cell
s were seen which contained polarizable filamentous material. A diagno
sis of foreign body granuloma was rendered which was confirmed oil his
topathology. (C) 1998 Wiley-Liss,Inc.
