Abstract
The behavior of mica of various composition and structure during treat ment with a 30% solution of hydrogen peroxide was studied by X-ray dif fraction analysis and IR and Mossbauer spectroscopy. Factors influenci ng the susceptibility of mica to dispersion and swelling were revealed .
