Sa. Tunikova et al., USE OF HIGH-FREQUENCY MICROBALANCE FOR DETERMINING TOLUENE IN GAS-MIXTURES, Russian journal of applied chemistry, 71(4), 1998, pp. 621-625
The method of piezoelectric quartz crystal microweighing was used for
proximate analysis of toluene-containing gases. As a detector was used
a commercial quartz resonator. The toluene detection limits were impr
oved by modifying the detector electrodes with active phases (polyethy
lene glycols). The optimal conditions were determined for preparing so
rbent films and obtaining the maximum analytical signal.
