Abstract
We construct a noncollapsing circular string configuration in D dimens ional spacetime, by introducing spinors on the world sheet. Our constr uction allows the presence of both a U(1) and an SU(2) current. In the latter case the role of the Wess-Zumino-Witten term for the bosonizat ion procedure is investigated.
