Bog forests are usually identified by rarefied tree layer and include plant groups with the degree of tree layer closeness no more than 0,3 and with lower layers formed by typically bog species. Studies of plan t interactions in bog forests are important as conoems the boundary be tween the forest and the bog, since the composition and structure of b og forests have features of both the former and the latter.
