Abstract
Alloy powders of Ag-Pd were prepared from coprecipitated powders by he at treatment. While silver-rich Ag-Pd (70-30) alloy powders were depen dent on the heat treatment duration the palladium-rich Ag-Pd (30-70) a lloy powders were dependent on the heat treatment temperature. Aggrega tes formed by heat treatment were successfully pulverized and disperse d to form monodispersed Ag-Pd alloy powders, It is apparent that an in crease in the diameter of agglomerated particles results in the decrea se in the packing density.
