H. Iovu et al., CONDUCTIVE POLYMERS OBTAINED BY IODINE-DOPING OF POLYISOPRENE SYNTHESIZED WITH LANTHANIDE-BASED CATALYSTS, Revue roumaine de chimie, 43(4), 1998, pp. 341-346
The iodine-doping process of polyisoprene with a high 1,4 cis content,
obtained by stereospecific polymerisation with lanthanide-based catal
ysts, was studied. Three different solvents were used: toluene, cycloh
exane and. dichloromethane. The doping process was followed by UV tech
nique, the reaction mechanism giving evidence of the complexes which a
ppear during the process.
