Abstract
The differential photoisomerization quantum yield (QY) behavior of fou r derivatives of naphthacenequinone in toluene solution and in polymet hyl methacrylate (PMMA), polyvinyl butirale (PVB) and polybutyl methac rylate (PBM-5) polymer films during direct and reverse reactions has b een investigated. It was discovered that in ail cases the initial QY i n polymer matrices is higher than the QY in toluene solution.
