Abstract
We have measured the gamma ray activity of a sample of 6189 grams of m etallic Neodimium with a germanium detector. From the gamma energy spe ctrum recorded during almost 6500 hours we extract lower limits for th e halflife of the inclusive (0 nu+2 nu) beta beta decay of Nd-150 to t he first excited states of Sm-150 : t(1/2)(0(+) --> 0(1)(+)) > 1.0.10( 20), t(1/2)(0(+) --> 0(2)(+))> 2.0.10(20), t(1/2)(0(+) --> 2(1)(+)) > 9.1.10(19).
