Abstract
Experiments are reported on the elucidation of the origin of the narro wing of NMR absorptions from solid particles when they are suspended i n a support liquid and irradiated with ultrasound. Evidence is provide d for contributions to line narrowing from induced incoherent particle motion and in some cases from induced lattice motions.
