J. Becker et Wf. Holderich, AMINATION OF BENZENE IN THE PRESENCE OF AMMONIA USING A GROUP-VIII METAL SUPPORTED ON A CARRIER AS CATALYST, Catalysis letters, 54(3), 1998, pp. 125-128
Benzene is selectively aminated to aniline in the presence of ammonia
using a Group VIII element as the catalyst supported on a carrier at e
levated temperatures and high pressures. The catalytic tests were perf
ormed in a plug Row reactor or in a continuously stirred tank reactor.
To shift the reaction equilibrium towards aniline, oxygen or carbon m
onoxide, respectively, were added.
