Abstract
The processed leaves and stems of Cyclopia intermedia contain 4-hydrox ycinnamic acid, the isoflavones formononetin, afrormosin, calycosin; p seudobaptigen, and fujikinetin, the flavanones naringenin, eriodictyol , hesperitin, and hesperidin, the coumestans medicagol, flemichapparin , and sophoracoumestan B, the xanthones mangiferin and isomangiferin, the flavone luteolin, and the inositol (+)-pinitol.
