Abstract
By the monovariant-reaction method, the coordinates of the conversion muscovite + phlogopite + quartz = cordierite + K-feldspar + H2O have b een determined at PH2O+CO2 = 100 MPa. It is shown that this reaction i s reversible within 525-410 degrees C at X-CO2 = 0-0.7. For the above- system topology a thermodynamic calculation has been carried out, and the calculated and experimental data are compared.
