Li. Pavlova, PHASE-COMPOSITION OF THE PRODUCTS FORMED AFTER REDUCTION OF A COPRECIPITATED NIO-WO3 SYSTEM, Kinetics and catalysis, 39(3), 1998, pp. 430-433
The phase composition of the products formed after reduction of the co
precipitated NiO-WO3 (Ni :W = 1:1) system is studied by X-ray diffract
ion analysis. It is shown that a disordered Ni-W alloy with an FCC lat
tice and an amorphous tungsten oxide phase are formed at 450 degrees C
in hydrogen. Thermal treatment of the reduced system in helium at 850
degrees C results in the formation of crystalline WO2 and W18O49 oxid
es and in a decrease in the parameter of the alloy lattice.
