Abstract
We describe a schwannoma of the obturator nerve in a woman 66 years ol d. It was diagnosed only postoperatively because of the aspecificity o f the symptoms. The difficulty of making a correct diagnosis during su rgery is discussed, and the potential serious consequences of total ex cision of the nerve are described.
