Kinetic laws of formation of semiiterpenetrating polymer networks base
d on cross linked poly urethane (PU) (reaction of polyaddition) and li
near poly(butyl methacrylate) (PBMA) (radical polymerization) in the p
resence of inorganic (talc) and polymeric (the product of triethylene
glycol dimethacrylate polymerization) fillers were studied. It is show
n that at low degrees of filling (up to 20 wt %) both fillers increase
the PBMA formation rate as compared to the initial value, while the PU
formation rate decreases. With increasing filler concentration, the f
ormation rates of both PBMA and PU networks decrease. The established
laws of the concentrational effects produced by the filler, the cataly
st of urethane formation; and the initiator of radical polymerization
allow one to control the formation rate of semiinterpenetrating polyme
r networks and microphase composition of the composite material.
