Abstract
Characteristics (the light yield, fluorescence decay time, radiation h ardness, etc.) of scintillation detectors, in which various organosili con compounds are used as matrices of scintillators and converting ele ments, are considered. The basic properties of components of scintilla ting and luminescent compositions are described, and practical recomme ndations for their substantiated selection are given. The application of organosilicon luminophor-containing compositions for producing scin tillators, converting elements, and luminescent solar concentrators is shown to be efficient.
