Abstract
In two patients with obstruction of the upper respiratory airways, ech ocardiography, subsequent angio-cardiography and bronchoscopy disclose d the presence of a pulmonary artery sling. The clinical course of the disease, the diagnostic approach and the procedures for surgical repa ir are described. Embryological as well as differential diagnostic asp ects are discussed with regard to the literature.
