Abstract
We report on a study of the interaction forces between surfaces with d issimilar electrostatic potentials but of the same sign. The theoretic al possibility of an attractive electrostatic force induced by the int eraction was not observed. Our results demonstrate the need for a more complete theoretical model for the interaction of dissimilar charge-r egulating surfaces.
