SOME ASPECTS OF THE STRUCTURE OF INFORMAT IONAL CONTENT OF THE INFORMATION MEDIA

This paper reviewed recent studies on some aspects of the content stru cture of the information media. The content of information media is no t just a random grouping of words, but rather carefully constructed se t of concepts put together by an author to express the author's idea. Therefore as a essential nature of the information media, its content involves structure. After types of structures and terms are defined, r elations between structures and subject analysis, subject representati ons with relationship among concepts, structural analysis of abstracts and research papers, and information needs from structural point of v iew are discussed. Needs for validated analysis of structures and cumu lation of studies are emphasized.
