Abstract
The reaction of K[HB(3-Bu(t)pz)(3)] with GaI3 resulted in breakdown of the ligand and formation of a novel Ga/O cluster. This compound can b e described as four edge-sharing Ga/O,N octahedra or as two face shari ng partial Gal O heterocubanes, i.e. a quasi double heterocubane.
