Abstract
An yttrium aluminium oxide dodecyl sulfate mesophase with a hexagonal structure has been synthesized by a homogeneous precipitation method u sing urea and was converted into a porous material with a specific sur face area of 662 m(2) g(-1) by anion exchange of the surfactant with a cetate ion.
