Abstract
The single crystal structure of the ordered phase of norbornadiene was determined using a new method of growing crystals at low temperatures , via an in situ technique utilising IR light from a CO2 laser focused on a capillary filled with an organic solution of a sample that usual ly forms plastic crystals.
