Abstract
Complexation of triosmium clusters to pyridyl functionalised metallopo rphyrins gives heterometallic derivatives that possess the overall rec ognition and spectroscopic properties of the porphyrin fragment, while incorporating the electronic and structural characteristics of the cl uster.
