Abstract
The cluster anions [M-VI(S)Re-3(I)(CO)(9)(mu(3)-S)(4)](-), M = Mo or W , contain three six-coordinate tricarbonylrhenium(I) fragments, held t ogether by one mu(3)-sulfide ion and by one reducible and charge trans fer-active mu(3)-(MS42-)-S-VI unit.
