Abstract
Inelastic single collisions of slow electrons with rubidium chloride m olecules leading to formation of excited rubidium ions were studied. T he main reaction channels at energies near the threshold were discusse d. Cross sections for dissociative excitation of 6s, 5p, and 5d levels of a single-charged rubidium ion were calculated.
