Y. Alhassid et al., CONDUCTANCE PEAK DISTRIBUTIONS IN QUANTUM DOTS AT FINITE-TEMPERATURE - SIGNATURES OF THE CHARGING ENERGY, Physical review. B, Condensed matter, 58(12), 1998, pp. 7524-7527
We derive the finite temperature conductance peak distributions and pe
ak-to-peak correlations for quantum dots in the Coulomb blockade regim
e assuming the validity of random-matrix theory. The distributions are
universal, depending only on the symmetry class and the temperature m
easured in units of the mean level spacing, a. When the temperature is
comparable to Delta several resonances contribute to the same conduct
ance peak and we find significant deviations from the previously known
T much less than Delta distributions. In contrast to the T much less
than Delta case, these distributions show a strong signature of the ch
arging energy and charge quantization on the dot. [S0163-1829(98)50936
