Abstract
Effects due to interface optical-phonon modes on the cyclotron resonan ce in high magnetic field are investigated for GaAs/AlxGa1-xAs quantum wells with the inclusion of band nonparabolicity. The polaron cyclotr on resonant frequencies are obtained from the magneto-optical absorpti on spectrum which exhibits magnetopolaron resonances near the GaAs and AlAs-like phonon frequencies. Our theoretical results are in good agr eement with recent cyclotron resonance experiments. Furthermore, we pr esent calculations of interface-phonon-assisted harmonics at high freq uency whose positions are determined by the resonant phonon frequencie s. [S0163-1829(98)04936-4].
