Abstract
The output power of a kinetically enhanced Cu-vapor laser is shown to increase linearly with pulse repetition frequency to an experimental L imit of 22 kHz. Output power of >150 W has been produced by a medium-s cale (38-mm diameter, 1.55-m long) device operating at 22 kHz. (C) 199 8 Optical Society of America.
