Polyaniline is synthesized electrochemically on p-Si and n-Si from aqu
eous solutions of sulfuric acid in galvanostatic, potentiostatic, and
potentiopulsed modes. It is shown that introducing K2IrCl6 into electr
olyte as a catalyst accelerates formation of the polymer film and lowe
rs the electrosynthesis voltage. Cyclic voltammetry of polymer coating
s thus manufactured is conducted and their IR spectra are obtained. Po
lyaniline films on the p-Si and rt-Si electrodes are electroactive and
conduct in anodic and cathodic directions.
