AN EXPERT CLASSIFICATION-SYSTEM FOR PRODUCTION SYSTEM

The proposed system shows a knowledge base system integrating a geomet ric modeler, a database, and a knowledge base system, which generates group technology codes to retrieve existing similar design models in d atabase, initiate a model, generate a process plan, and store the new model in the database automatically. We also demonstrate the knowledge based system which is one of the powerful tools applied to integratio n of design and manufacturing, and the system can be integrated with d atabases and CAD/CAM systems to implement concurrent production engine ering system environment.
