Abstract
Transport properties (viscosity and thermal conductivity) were calcula ted for pure fluids and mixtures based on densities from cubic equatio ns of state (EOS). The method of Chung et al. (1988) was used for the prediction of transport properties. For the computation of dense fluid s density, three equation of state were used: SRK (Soave, 1972), PR (P eng and Robinson, 1976), and GEOS (Geana, 1986). A comparison with exp erimental data of non polar, polar and associating fluids over a wide range of pressure and temperature was made.
