Spectra for the H-2-CN and D-2-CN complexes have been observed in asso
ciation with the monomer B (2)Sigma(+)-X(2)Sigma(+) and A (2)Pi-X(2)Si
gma(+) transitions. Ground state dissociation energies of D-0'' = 38+/
-1 cm(-1) (H-2-CN) and D-0'' = 42+/-1 cm(-1) (D-2-CN) were determined.
Electronically nonadiabatic predissociations of H-2/D-2-CN(A) complex
