Abstract
We study the photoinduced charge separation processes in solution thro ugh a pump-probe spectroscopy theory [Dah-Yen Yang and Sheh-Yi Sheu, J . Chem. Phys. 106, 9427 (1997)] numerically. We investigate the detail ed mechanism of nonadiabatic transition processes via the transition d ifferential flux analysis. For the harmonic potential surfaces, an ele ctronic coherence motion is observed in the overdamped exothermic acti vationless and inverted regimes. (C) 1998 American Institute of Physic s.
