Abstract
The structure of the title compound (C9H13NO2NaP .3H2O) (Toldimfos Na . 3H(2)O) has been determined at room temperature. The crystals are mo noclinic, a = 38.15(2) Angstrom, b = 4.940(3) Angstrom, c = 14.510(8) Angstrom; beta = 109.58(4)degrees, V = 2576(3) Angstrom(3), Z = 8, D-c alc - 1.419 g cm(-3), space group C2/c. The structure was solved by di rect methods and refined by full-matrix least-squares method (MoEa rad iation, R = 0.061). Indexed powder diffraction pattern for the drug is also reported.
