Abstract
Improvements in coupling capillary electrophoresis (CE) to inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) are discussed for speciatio n of Pt-, As- and Se compounds. They are due to the use of long capill aries and to the separation of the CE separation step (focusing) from ICP-MS detection step (mobilisation).
