Abstract
From the methanol extract of Alchemilla vulgaris L. (Rosaceae) four fl avonoid glycosides were obtained, The isolated compounds were characte rized by their spectral and chromatographic data. The known pharmacolo gical properties of flavonoids may explain the use of this plant in po pular medicine. (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
