Abstract
Alkyl, vinyl and aryl substituted carbazoles at the 3- and 6-positions are prepared in high yield from the corresponding 3,6-dibromocarbazol e via nickel catalyzed coupling with Grignard reagents (Corriu-Kumada coupling). (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
