Abstract
The Hirota bilinear identity for the Cauchy-Baker-Akhieser (CBA) kerne l is introduced as a basic tool to construct integrable hierarchies co ntaining lattice and q-difference times. A determinant formula for the action of meromorphic function on the CBA kernel is derived. This for mula gives the opportunity to construct generic solutions for integrab le lattice equations.
