Abstract
A simple unifying mass matrix is presented for the three active and on e sterile neutrinos nu(e), nu(mu), nu(tau), and nu(s), using an extens ion of the radiative mechanism proposed some time ago by Zee. The tota l neutrino-oscillation data are explained by the scheme nu(e) <-> nu(s ) (solar), nu(mu) <-> nu(tau) (atmospheric) and nu(e) <-> nu(mu) (LSND ). We obtain the interesting approximate relationship (Delta m(2))(atm )similar or equal to 2[(Delta m(2))(solar)(Delta m(2))(LSND)](1/2) whi ch is well satisfied by the data. [S0556-2821(98)50119-1]
