Abstract
The dimension-six CP-violating SUL(2) X U-Y(1) invariant operators inv olving the tau lepton are studied. The constraints from the available experimental data on tau dipole moments are derived. Under the current constraints, the induced CP-violating effects could possibly be obser ved in tau-->3 pi nu(tau) at the future tau-charm factory. [S0556-2821 (98)06017-2]
