Abstract
We propose the Fritzsch-Branco-Silva-Marcos-type fermion mass matrix, which is a typical texture in the nearest-neighbor interaction form, i n SU(5) GUT. By evolution of the mass matrices with SU(5) CUT relation s in the minimal SUSY standard model, we obtain predictions for the un itarity triangle of CP violation as well as the quark flavor mixing an gles, which are consistent with experimental data, in the case of tan beta similar or equal to 3.
