Abstract
The dichloromethane extract of the whole plant of Leontodon hispidus a fforded one new and two known guaian-5,12-olides. The structure of the new compound has been established by extensive 2D NMR techniques as y droxyhypocretenolide-beta-D-glucopyranoside-4'-14 ''-hydroxyhypocreten oate.
