Abstract
A new neo-clerodane diterpenoid, 11-episcutecolumnin C, has been isola ted from the acetone extract of the aerial parts of Scutellaria column ae var. columnae. In addition to the previously known diterpenes, 11-e piscutecyprin, scutegalin D, scutecolumnin C, scutecyprol B, scutaltis in and the iridoid glycoside globuspectroscopic and molecular mechanic s methods as: (11R,13R,16S,19S),6 alpha-acetoxy-4 alpha, 18; 11,16; 15 ,16-triepoxy neo-cleroda,19,2 alpha hemiacetal.
