Abstract
The high-temperature Knudsen effusion method was used to study the vap orization processes and thermodynamic properties of fluxes based on Ca O-CaCl2 and CaO-CaF2 systems with additions of Al, Al2O3 in the temper ature range 800-2240 K, The composition of vapour and the partial pres sures of vapour species as a function of temperature and vaporization time of fluxes were obtained. Vaporization enthalpies of components an d dependences of partial pressures as a function of temperature are su ggested for practical needs based on the experimental results. Reliabi lity of the data obtained in the present study was confirmed by compar ison with the reference values for Au, CsCl, CaCl2 and CaF2, (C) 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
