Abstract
Sexually transmitted diseases remain a prevalent problem in the United States and throughout the world, despite efforts in prevention and ed ucation. This review highlights the cutaneous manifestations of the fo llowing sexually transmitted diseases: syphilis, chancroid, lymphogran uloma venereum, granuloma inguinale, genital herpes, genital warts, sc abies, and pediculosis pubis. Emphasis is placed on the clinical findi ngs, diagnostic methodology, and recommended treatment for each diseas e.
